The final round of the betting phase is called the showdown. This is when the hand is revealed to the other players. In some games, a straight is used as the final hand. A straight is five consecutive cards of the same suit. In other games, a flush is used as the final hand. In other variations, the pot is split between the highest and lowest hands. In no-limit poker, any bet up to the pot size can be placed. This is an advantage over pot-limit poker, which only allows bets up to the total pot size.

A player with the best five-card hand wins the pot. In some variations, the best hand is the straight, and in other versions, a flush is the highest. In some games, the best hand is a pair of aces and a pair of kings, for example. In others, the best hand is a straight flush.

After the flop and draw phases are complete, the last round of the betting phase is the street. The remaining players reveal their cards in turn. In most games, the player with the highest hand is the winner. In other games, the highest hand is the player with the lowest card in their hand.
